Gosh Cosmetics Vegan List 2016

I’ve spent a long time debating whether or not I want to be the type of cruelty free blogger who has these lists of brands and what’s vegan and not, but recently I discovered that my beloved foundation, recommended by bloggers that was on dozens of blogger-posted vegan list, was no longer vegan friendly. I would totally be lying if I said I wasn’t completely heartbroken, but I found myself endlessly thankful that Gosh were so forthcoming with this information and pointing me in the direction of products that I can use instead. Not all brands are so able to come back and be so helpful, and I’m also finding that a pretty massive number of published lists aren’t up to date with new releases (or properly dated or easy to follow). And so here we are with a Gosh Cosmetics vegan list. .

Gosh Cosmetics Vegan List 2016

I recently wrote to Gosh as I read that their X-ceptional Wear Foundation no longer contained synthetic beeswax and they came back to me with the following statement:

Thank you for your e-mail regarding the use of animal derived ingredients in our products. I understand your confusion, as we, when first launching the X-Ceptional Wear Foundation used a synthetic beeswax, but we had to change raw material supplier, and a small percentage of this raw material now contains natural beeswax.

Therefore we can no longer claim this product to be vegan friendly.

They did, very kindly attach an up to date list of their products that are cruelty free and as a true lover of Gosh, I’m planning on keeping this as up to date as possible with their future releases if I can. I truly believe Gosh are one of the most underrated brands available in the drugstore and I’m finding my make up drawers filling up so quickly with their products.

    1. They’re a great brand! In any drugstore they’re my go to, I’m yet to really find any products that I don’t like by them.

  1. I’m glad GOSH were so helpful, they’re definitely one of my favourite high street brands! It’s good to know they have so many vegan products available 🙂 xx

    1. They were so lovely, it makes me wonder what other brands excuses are for being so massively unhelpful haha. I’m hoping to maybe have a couple of other posts like this in future though!x

    1. Thanks for letting me know! I’m waiting on an updated list from the brand with all their new releases so I’m expecting a few other products will be removed.
